Soothe your chakras at Soneva Kiri in Koh Kood, Thailand. Life at this serene resort, set within lush rainforest along the Gulf of Siam, centers around the SLOW LIFE (Sustainable, Local, Organic, Wellness, Learning, Inspiring, Fun Experiences) philosophy. That credo carries over to a “No News, No Shoes” policy throughout the gorgeous grounds, where you’ll enjoy electric buggies and other eco-responsible innovations. The hideaway resort offers an unrivaled combination of luxury, environmentally friendly design and unforgettable, authentic Thai experiences.

LOCATION

The island of Koh Kood is located 350 km southeast of Bangkok, Thailand and 80 km off the Thai mainland. Accessible from the hub that is Bangkok by private jet about 2 hours and a short 10 minute boat ride to the resort. The fourth largest island in the country, it remains remarkably undeveloped. Untouched slopes, wild interiors and immaculate beaches compose its raw glamour. The isle's charms inspired the rustic-chic design of the resort, sustainably crafted with recycled wood like the poles that bring to mind the stilts of the local fishing villages. Charlotte Travel can arrange private jet round-trip transfer from Bangkok and Siem Reap after your holiday.

VILLLAS

36 private villas sit either on the beach, or on the sun dazed slopes amongst the rainforest gazing over the Gulf of Siam. Each is generously large – the most spacious in all of Asia – offering complete privacy and every level of five star luxury and comfort. Only natural and sustainable building materials have been used, resulting in the rustic chic, making the lightest possible footprint on the environment and blending seamlessly into its natural surroundings.

HIGHLIGHTS

Food and wine is of exemplary standard and the team of chefs use only the freshest ingredients, locally grown or sourced, often from the resorts own organic fruit and vegetable gardens. Benz’s restaurant, a small dwelling amongst the mangroves, is accessed only by boat and lit by fireflies and candles. It is the name restaurant of Khun Benz, who has returned from 10 years at Soneva Fushi, who cooks whatever she picks from the market that day – the results often acclaimed as the best Thai food in Thailand.

There is much to do for children in Den, a bamboo structure in the shape of a Manta Ray, complete with draw-bridge to keep out adults, to every water sport and excellent diving and snorkelling, to cooking classes, an observatory, sun set cruises, day trips to neighbouring islands and guided jungle treks, to watching classic movies on the big screen at Cinema Paradiso.

The Spa nestled into the tangled branches of an untamed jungle, Six Senses Spa provides an unpretentious environment for your child’s first experiences with spa and wellness. We offer private children’s and family yoga, tai qi and meditation sessions as well as massage and beauty treatments uniquely appropriate for our youngest guests.
