LOCATION

Air New Zealand operates scheduled flights daily from Auckland to Kerikeri/Bay of Islands airport which from there is a 25 minute drive to the property. Alternatively, The Lodge at Kauri Cliffs has its own EC130 helicopter which is able to be hired for transfers into and out of Auckland, for either Domestic or International Flights.

SUITES & OWNER'S COTTAGE

Kauri Cliffs offers accommodation in outlying guest cottages, each with two guest suites providing 22 suites. The cottages are nestled on the edge of a native forest with spectacular views overlooking the ocean and golf course. The feel is more of staying in a well-designed guest room in a private home, thus is the attention to detail in all aspects of each suite's interior design. Located down a meandering path and overlooking the golf course and Pacific Ocean, each of the six suites have comfortable and generous bedroom with a sitting area and open fireplace. Set away from the main lodge and on the edge of a native Totara forest overlooking the golf course and Cavalli Islands, the 14 Deluxe Suites offer a spacious bedroom with a relaxing sitting area and fireplace, opening out to a large private balcony. 

The Owner’s Cottage at Kauri Cliffs offers a true home away from home experience overlooking our multiple award winning golf course, the South Pacific Ocean and the Cavalli Islands. Located just a short walk from the main lodge and day spa, the two large bedrooms with walk-in-wardrobes and generous ensuite bathrooms, open fireplaces in both bedrooms and the living room fill the lodge with an warm atmosphere.  The stunning Owner's Cottage also features a private infinity pool and outdoor jacuzzi, a smaller study that can be converted to an optional third bedroom with single bed, ideal for children or a nanny. If in house dining is preferred, a popular feature is the outdoor barbeque and cooking facilities for private use, though most guests opt for the use of a lodge chef to handle the culinary honours!

Kauri Cliffs has a range of facilities to accommodate all of your vacation requirements. The main lodge overlooks the spectacular Cavalli Islands, the multiple award winning golf course, and incorporates the beautifully appointed living room, a spacious and comfortable meeting/TV room, a card room, and a small computer room. As well as the world class golf course, as a guest of Kauri Cliffs you will enjoy a range of leisure facilities including two AstroTurf tennis courts, beautiful full service day spa set in our native Totara forest, fitness centre with an indoor lap pool and jacuzzi and a stunning infinity swimming pool. Kauri Cliffs also has three private swimming beaches, including the famed Pink Beach where regular barbecues are held in the summer months. Mountain bikes, guided nature walks, fishing and horse riding are all popular activities on the property.
