LOCATION

Sits in the heart of the verdant and lush Punakha Valley, just a five minute trek up the mountain to the magnificent Sangchhen Dorji Lhuendrup Lhakhang Nunnery, which houses one of the biggest bronze statues of Chenrigzig (Avalokiteshvara) in the country.  It is entirely the handiwork of local Bhutanese artisans.  The temple is also a centre of higher learning and meditation for nuns.

Dhensa Spa is set in a dedicated cottage, frrom yoga to spa treatments and a unique outdoor wood-fired bath by using very own-hand-blened essential oils, harness the power of nature in its purest form to nourish physical and spiritual well-being. There is also a steam room and sauna with a window overlooking the forestry.

Standard accommodations are included in your tour price already. For the guests who prefer even more comfortable rooms, luxury hotels are available in Paro, Thimphu, Punakha, Gangtey and Bumthang, upon extra payment apart from the package tariff. As Bhutan government do not allow visitors to travel freely without a tour guide, you may inform us your preferred hotel choices, and we will fit your choices in to the itinerary.
