Singita Kwitonda Lodge will be built to embody the spirit of Rwanda and offer a tribute to the lodge’s namesake – Kwitonda - a great silverback gorilla whose legend lives on in Rwanda and was known for his humility and gentleness.

Location

Singita Kwitonda Lodge is set to open on 5 August 2019 on 178 acres (72 hectares) on the edge of Volcanoes National Park. Relative to the population of the country and the intensive use of land for farming food crops, a 178-acre pocket of land in a country the size of Rwanda is highly prized. The opening of Singita Kwitonda Lodge puts gorilla trekking within easy reach and in combination with a classic safari at Singita’s private concessions on the Serengeti plains in Tanzania. With a launch promotion that offers the ultimate Singita East African safari experience, don't miss out on this bucket list itinerary.
