On this 4-day lodge safari, you will explore one of the greatest safari destinations on earth – the Masai Mara. Look for lions, rhinos and elephants together with your knowledgeable guide. You will have enough time to explore remote corners in your 4x4 Toyota Land Cruiser and appreciate small moments which make a safari in the Mara a memorable experience.

  • Day 1

    Masai Mara Game Reserve
We will meet you in Nairobi for a short briefing about your upcoming safari, before you hit the road in your 4x4 Toyota Land Cruiser. You leave the hustle and bustle of the city behind, making your way to the Masai Mara. Enjoy stunning views across the Great Rift Valley from your guaranteed window seat before you head deeper into Masai land. You will arrive in the Mara in the early afternoon in time for your first game drive in this truly magnificent corner of the earth. • Day 2 - 3

    Masai Mara Game Reserve
Mornings start early in the bush. But waking up in a spacious tented camp under large trees, birds chirping and the excitement of discovery ahead, the hour of the day is quickly forgotten when you head out. You will take a packed lunch and enjoy a picnic along the way which means you can explore the Masai Mara from morning until the late afternoon on these two days. You have enough time to explore remote corners and learn from your guide about the animals’ behaviour. During the Great Migration, when thousands of wildebeest and zebras migrate to the Mara from the plains of the Serengeti, you may be in luck and witness a river-crossing at the Mara River. But no matter what time of the year you come to the Mara, many different species call this place home year-round. Cheetahs, hyenas and antelopes roam the savannah, while leopards hide in the thicket of the trees and hippos and crocodiles inhabit the waters. Look forward to wildlife encounters which will stay in your memory for a long time to come. In the evening, enjoy a sundowner on your private balcony or chat with other travellers at the bar about your adventures of the day.
    Insider's Tip:
The Masai Mara is not only known for the world famous Migration river crossings. The scenery and abundant wildlife is second to none. Why not change up your point of view and join a once in a lifetime Hot Air Balloon Safari over the plains?

  • Day 4

    Nairobi / End of Journey
You’ll be surprised how many different animals you will have seen and how much you will have learned from your guide by now. On this fourth day of your safari you have become a safari expert and it is now time to leave the bush behind and head back to the city. Since animals don’t mind borders you may still see wildlife when leaving the Mara region, before you get back on tarmac leading you to Nairobi. Here, we will bring you to your hotel or the airport and say our goodbyes. Alternatively you can book a flight to the shores of the Indian Ocean and relax at the tropical beaches of Diani Beach. Thanks to an airstrip in the Mara region, you can enjoy a cocktail under palm trees just hours after dusting-off from your adventures in the bush. Get in touch for more details!
