L’Apogée Courchevel is located on the very top of the former Olympic ski jump, with a clear view all the way down the valley. Situated in the Three valleys with 600 kms of slopes connected by 172 ski lifts, a multitude of different coloured runs allow children and expert skiers a terrific experience. The ski resort offers one of the largest ski schools in the world with high-quality ski lessons for all.

LOCATION

L’Apogée Courchevel has a preeminent position in the exclusive resort of Courchevel 1850. Nestled in the peaceful woodlands at the highest point of Le Jardin Alpin, it is a step apart from the hustle giving guests a true Alpine atmosphere.

Winding down the mountain road, there are five villages that make up the Courchevel area: Courchevel at 1850 metres, Courchevel Moriond at 1650 metres, Courchevel Village at 1550 metres, Courchevel Le Praz at 1300 metres and Saint Bon, at 1100 metres. There are plenty of bars and resturants to visit and the nightlife is very lively.

ROOMS, PENTHOUSE & CHALETS

At the highest point of the original Olympic ski jump Courchevel 1850, the 53 rooms and suites, penthouse and two chalets offer astonishing views sweeping down the valley and across snow laden woodland, many from private balconies. Bathrooms are swathed in Fior di Bosco marble with under floor heating, some have steam showers for warm soothing therapy after a day of alpine skiing. French interior designer India Madhavi subtly reflects rustic charm in the smooth contemporary style, with furs, soft wool plaid and fine leather caressing the senses.

The ski in/ski out facility and a ski room staffed by top professionals ensure all equipments perfectly comfortable and in excellent condition.

HIGHLIGHTS

Nowhere parties so beautifully as Courchevel, not an opportunity is missed to bring the pistes to life with music and glittering celebrations. For Orthodox Christmas hundreds of instructors illuminate the slopes with a torchlight descent and in February teams from around the world illuminate the sky with the international pyrotechnic display.

Take the reins of a dog sled for an exhilarating ride swooshing behind your own husky team by moonlight. Slide along with fast and furious snowboarders or take the Courchevel 1850 toboggan run. Enjoy the most spectacular scenic tour with a pilot specialised in mountain flying, leaving from the high altitude Courchevel airstrip, or strap on crampons for a vertical ice climb.

There are five exquisitely designed rooms which offer Sisley treatments and a hairdresser salon. Guests prepare for therapy loosening limbs and clearing minds in the steam room, sauna and salt cave. The fitness centre has first class gym equipment, with professional trainers and physiotherapists always on hand to soothe away the strains of the ski slopes. The mosaic swimming pool is especially serene with its own Jacuzzi.
