The challenge of staying in an igloo on the very edge of the Ice Fjord? Right in the front row overlooking the beautiful Arctic nature. From May to October it is possible to stay overnight in one of our five unique two-person igloo cabins that are located at the end of a wooden bridge just a short walk from the hotel. Look out across the cliffs, the Disko Bay and watch the colossal icebergs as they drift by.

LOCATION 

Just outside Ilulissat city about 15-minutes walk from the center with an excellent view of the bay. There is a free shuttle bus to / from the hotel. 

ROOMS

All standard rooms and Superior Plus rooms have been renovated and overlooks the city, harbor and icebergs. The rooms offer a reasonable comfort, simple solutions, minimalist bathrooms with Philip Stark sanitation, and they are decorated with original works of the Greenlandic artist Buuti Pedersen and Miki Jakobsen.

HIGHLIGHTS 

Huge iceberg near Ilulissat gives light to a cloudy day, taking tour boat 'Smilla' cruising among the icebergs. A dogsledge tour is (almost) mandatory when visiting in the season (January-April), over 3,000 sledge dogs waiting for you.
